According to industry data, China’s logistics sector continued to exhibit stable development in October.
The index that tracks the performance of China’s logistics market recorded a reading of 52.9 percent last month, a slight decrease of 0.6 percentage points compared to September, as reported by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing.
A reading above 50 signifies expansion, while a reading below indicates contraction.
Notably, China’s logistics market performance remained within the expansion zone in the previous month, with robust logistics activities observed in all regions. He Hui, the chief economist of the federation, affirmed the sector’s stable foundation for the upcoming phase, citing the gradual release of internal growth impetus as a contributing factor.
