In an announcement made on Monday, the China Air Transport Association (CATA) disclosed its plans to host its inaugural aviation conference, scheduled to take place from November 3rd to 5th in Beijing.
The primary objective of this event is to foster a platform for meaningful exchanges and discussions concerning various facets of the civil aviation industry. These include discussions on safety operations, aviation services, the normalcy of flight operations, environmentally friendly and low-carbon practices, as well as embracing intelligent and sustainable development. The overarching goal is to propel the civil aviation sector towards high-quality development.
The conference itself will comprise three distinctive segments: an opening ceremony, a series of forums, and an expansive exhibition, as detailed in the CATA statement.
The exhibition component is expected to be a highlight of the event. Ren Yingli, the Vice Chairman of CATA, a non-profit organization, emphasized that the exhibition will spotlight cutting-edge concepts, innovative services, novel products, advanced technologies, and pioneering business models within the aviation sector.
Over 150 institutions, universities, and enterprises, both domestic and international, are slated to participate in this expansive exhibition. The exhibition space will include specialized booths that showcase not only the aviation industry’s advancements but also offer insights into its cultural aspects, such as clothing and culinary offerings. Additionally, visitors will have the opportunity to engage in simulated flight experiences that encourage human-machine interaction, all designed to capture the public’s curiosity and imagination, as highlighted by Ren.
